Aloha and happy leftover turkey day!
finally got my first Emerson!! I made a trip to LKS today and my PSARK serial number 015 of 2001 was waiting. they were just about to call me and tell me it had come in(yeah right)
I was a little worried that I had a fake because the box was in mint condition but when I got it home I knew I had the real thing cause it needed some tweaking. I got it home and played with it and found that the blade scraped the liner when closing. Thanks to one of Burke's earlier posts I cracked it open (can't believe that the screws go through both Ti liners. cool) bent the detent in a little and re assembled it. now it's perfectly centered when closed and opens soooo smooth. the lock just barely engaged but once again thanks to previous posts, I waved it open hard about 20 times and now it pops just shy of center every time with no blade play at all. the grip fits my hand perfectly and I have been waving the hell out of it! I think I just found my new EDC. (the Boa is gonna get a well deserved rest for awhile)!!
Thanks again to all of you that have directly and indirectly given me advise about my first Emerson purchase. I'm sure it's not gonna be my last.
