Yesterday I received a package in the mail...
I literally made a happy squeeee noise when I saw who it was from...thus concerning the mail lady.
It was my booty from the Urban Challenge.
I'm blown away of course, and as giddy as can be.
Much gratitude! Thank you Ethan, the gear is thoughtful and beyond generous. It also filled a couple of holes in my current urban EDC.
Thank you Derek for being the ring master of this challenge.
I am really beyond thankfulness for this, thank you thank you thank you thank you!
Both the 5 and 16 were purchases I was planning on making. Both knives have exceeded my expectations. The 16 fits my hand perfectly, almost as if it was made for it. I might have to take a winter camping trip just to get it out in the field.
The 5 blew me away. It was far lighter than I anticipated, and balanced perfectly. I will be stripping both knives this weekend probably....and the 5 is going to see some heavy kitchen duty.
