I love my Uncle Sam.. He's been good to many of my extended family. The latest is my granddaughter Brittany hubby Travis. USN like many others but a crew chief on one of the attack helicopters. He's got a lot of ribbons lolol!

I went in the Marines in 1966. No thanks are necessary, because I benefited from it more than anybody. I grew up. All my cousins joined the military, but they all went in the Army. Those were turbulent times, and the only way I can describe my decision to join, was that I was scared as hell to go, but too proud not to.
