Veterans Day to me is sacred and I thank all my buddy's who served with me that are now gone, those still here and the young ones whom have taken our place. Although we have a Memorial Day for those who have passed and a Veterans day for all passed, served, and serving one of my favorite saying has always been the epitaph over in Kohima India.

"When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us And Say,
For Their Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today"
 
You guys are Welcome, and Passing that Thank You on to those that served after me too...Thanks for picking up the slack guys.
I had to remind my local Chief of Police a couple of weeks ago that the oath I took to "Protect the US from any Enemies Foreign or Domestic" was still in effect !
We have a better understanding now ;)

Good one and I feel the same way. I was in 90-94 and thank everyone who served and is serving today.
 
"All gave some, Some gave all", God bless, IMO today and Memorial Day are this nations 2 most important Holidays, sure no fat man going down a chimney to give any presents , but this is a time to honor real life heroes...(US Army checking in here 01-06)
