Thank you so much for adding more stainless framelocks with Hinderer stops and G10 non locking scales to your lineup. The ZT 0566 looks especially nice. While I would have paid $100 for a framelock at the same build level as the Speedform in Elmax, the addition of Hinderer styling and everything that comes with being a ZT does make it worth the extra price, I think.

I'll be getting one of these if it stays available and in regular production long enough that I don't have to have preordered it. (I won't buy a sprint run of anything if I want to actually use it.) I'll pick up a Thermite too, for obsessive flipping. :D

why not buy a knife to use from a sprint run? Is it due to the lack of parts later on if needing repair? IMHO there arent many issue with that and KAI products as many parts are shared between different knives. If the actual frame failed or blade then I could see that as a problem. But even then you have the ability to swap it out for something of like price.

No, it's because I can't easily replace it, and if a friend sees it and wants something with the same features, I can't just say "go get one here." In general, I just prefer full production models.

I don't see a reason not to pre-order one they are not sprint run knives.

What I mean is that I'd never intentionally buy anything like the Tilt, since I'd never be able to buy another one new. I can't really consider the Tilt a sprint run, since it only had one version.
