Too often in this "World" we only hear the negative, critical or unwelcome comment..... I would like to extend the opposite.
To the "Forum regulars" and the "Forum New" that "Get it" - Thank you for the seemingly well balanced, reasonable and mature way things have been going lately.
Questions get asked and answered. Dialogues occur and seem to be enjoyed by all....
Seems to me ths is the way we would want our "comfortable place" to be.
Hope you are enjoying it as well..... couldn't be this way without ALL of you So, Thank You.

great place to be, with some great knives and people(although i secretly hate chemdawg, and emel and their collections :p

A lot of unnecessary has been kept out because of you, so thanks for the upkeep Rubi :D
 
I have been a member of blade forums since 2006, have had Hinderer pens, Striders with Hinderer licensed parts, and one of Rick's fixed blades. But bought my first two folders (XM 18 and 24) a month or so ago and am now a Hinderer fanatic and have just started visiting this sub forum regularly. I must have missed the issues, because I have found this to be a really friendly helpful place.

I'm always hanging around this forum, checking in several times a day. It's my water cooler since I work alone most of the time, either in my home office, or on the road. I wouldn't if it weren't such a great group of people. Thank you Rubi for keeping this place going. I think you are a big part of why this place is the home that it is...

The "World" is and will be fine, it's people I find flawed and failing.

Thanks Scott for making this a great place to hang out and keeping this sub forum on par with what we would expect from Rick Hinderer Knives. If the term "I've got your back" holds value to anyone, you exemplify that meaning to Rick and his crew and also to sub forum members who post ligitament and constructive dialogue! Good job Rubi!
 
It also couldn't be that way without fine leadership! There are a lot of great folks here that always rise above the haters.
 
I need to post more (in forums in general) but I read a LOT. Thank you, this is a great forum and thank you at the Hinderer Crew.
 
Spent some time today looking through the Contributions to This Forum by its Members, the Threads, The Posts...... N2K, Jay, Maprik all seemed to bring some Oldies back today, it was fun re-looking at the "Pages Back Forgotten" threads.
We have a Great Forum - Thanks to Rick and Rob for being the catalyst and bringing us All together.
Mike, Pete and Rich there from early on when it got started. I think I may go back to the early pages and look up what "Old Timers" may still be around.
Dangerous to start naming names because what about the missed...... F.O. and his writing, Jay and his Humor, Chem and his Knives!, BW and Coop.....
The "Regulars" know who they are and Everything they do is appreciated in real time, for those New - Place wouldn't stay Fresh without them and they are the Regulars "in Progress".
Would not be what it is without ALL the pieces.

Really Great :)

Great thoughts Scott...I thoroughly enjoy going back and reading through the older threads! A lot of great wisdom, thoughts and knives we seldom see. :thumbup:
