Thank you Guy, Ellie and who ever else helped with my knife. Its a 5.1 cpm 3V with Ghost Jade. Its suppose to be
factory seconds but I cant find a flaw. Its in better than all the firsts ive ever bough from other companies.
Its by far the sharpest. Im overwhelmed with appreciation with this knife. I did an unboxing vid to capture my first responses.
Im sorry I dont have a pic. Its so beautiful I need to get some pics. Ill post them soon.
It got here so quick once it was shipped. It came across the country in a day and arrived a day early. Im so stoked I didnt have to wait till Mon. Thanks again for the kick ass knife and fast shipping and the extras you threw in.

I finally have a Survive! Knife. Its my new favorite.
 
I agree, my 5.1 3V was fantastic; I couldn't find a single blemish. Makes me little curious how they identify some of these as factory 2nds. [emoji1]

I kow! I thought I couldnt be lucky enough to get one like everyone was talking about. I thought for sure mine would have a penis shaped blemish or something crazy. lol I couldnt find anything wrong with it. Im so stoked!

Wow that is hilarious! But why was a penis shaped blemish your first thought? "Hmm these machining marks almost look like a little mushroo... WTF is that?!!"

Wow, I laughed too hard about that, I'm such a child. Anyways, got a link for the unboxing vid?????
 
I have also received (today Sat 4/30) my first order from 4/11, GSO 5.1 in CPM-3V with G10 handles. Darn it Mr. & Mrs. Seiferd! This knife is just too beautiful and too perfect to be used! Darn, damn and dang again (I know what I said goes against your every grain, but it is the truth)

Now I'm sitting here pondering and awaiting the arrival of my knife's other sibling still being babysit on your work bench ;) I am glad that you had issues with the other one in 20CV with the originally ordered black G10 handles, which I subsequently changed over to the camo canvas scales. What I may end up doing is to change the two over and put the canvas handles on my CPM-3V and the tiger stripes on the 20CV, if even a two left handed person like me can do with relative ease? ;) Then I'll keep the second one in pristine condition and most probably sell it at a later stage when I place another order for say, a GSO 10/12 and a GSO 2.7/3.5!

I will decide next week or so when I get the other.

I totally understand! =D Im ready to get more even though I dont have any money.
 
I got mine in on Friday, and I agree, I couldn't find a single damn flaw in mine and I'm really picky about stuff like that.

I remember Ellie posting something after the sales on the 4th (when people were expecting factory 1st knives) saying something along the lines of having so few 5.1's left that they were just gonna sell them all as factory seconds so some people would get extremely nice "factory 2nd" knives. I think that's what's going on here.

This is easily the best knife I've ever held and it's scary sharp. Great job Survive!
 
Im very pleased. I know CPM 3V is what they meant when they were asking Conan about the riddle of steel.

Gawd! I don't drop in here as much as I should (I love you guys) but hot damn this made me lose my pickle! Seriously, I thought I was going to spew my bourbon onto my wife (that is actually NOT a laughing matter). I am still howling my bollocks off! Lerd. I just peed a little..

Yeah I know bud. Got my beady little eyes on some too! Just gotta s t r e t c h the budget a bit more (read: romance the knifey wifey) then I'll have me some tasty S! deliciousness! And I can guarantee I'll be as excited as the FLSurfer!
