I posted this on some of my threads and by now its probably redundant but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped me out up till this point....I feel lucky to belong to such a community, and to have the knowledge and experience of likeminded people as a resource this place is great and so are all of you....THANKS!

Here here! Drinks for all! Except for you sheepfoots and you trainers, you've all got a point!! Cheers!

well, now I'd look bad if I didnt thank every one ;)

What a great place to hang out, and I dont even have to leave my house

Likewise, thanks to all. I've learned a lot here. There are a lot of interesting forums on BF, but WSS is the place where knives actually get tested and tried. There are some very knowledgeable people here and your conversations and advice are interesting and entertaining, to say the least ;)

That is a good initiative to say a "Thank you". As a matter of fact, I think we all owe it to all the people who have been willing to help each and every one of us every time we have resorted to their knowledge for assistance.

As each of us is climbing our personal learning curves, we too should be willing to assist others to the best of our knowledge so, that this place (i.e., the Bladeforums) continues to be a great source of knowledge for us all.

Cant agree more, ive learned a ton of stuff and everyone around here see willing to give there input where ever its needed.....
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!

Kum ba yah, my Lord, Kum ba yah!
Kum ba yah, my Lord, Kum ba yah!
Kum ba yah, my Lord, Kum ba yah!
Oh Lord! Kum ba yah!

Oooops-- sorry, got carried away :) Forums are really a great way to share information. And fun when people behave themselves--- like you all do here.

Okay, everybody sheath their blades, form a circle and join hands...

Everybody sing!

Hear me singing, Lord, Kum ba yah!
Hear me singing, Lord, Kum ba yah!
Hear me singing, Lord, Kum ba yah!
Oh Lord! Kum ba yah!

(drum roll and out....)

As I have stated before, I'm new around here. I greatly appreciate everyone's well spoken knowledge and advice.

BTTT for this one!

Travis

I have to agree, I have learned so much here, from the simplest things (darn that's cleaver) to some really life saving tips. I thank all of you who share your knowledge and experience with us all, may your karma be great and your blades stay sharp!

Know I have to thank you RR for the tip on the new cold steel knife which just cost me shipping.

You're all right, this is a fan-dang-tastic resource. I encourage you all to estimate what you might have spent on books and magazines about this stuff, and consider kicking in for a membership.

Then again, you may review all the gear and knives you've bought after reading up on them here, and come to the conclusion that maybe the forum owes you some kind of commission.... ;)
