I wanted to take a minute to just say thanks. I`ve had some ups and downs since "leaving" the corporate world last May, but all in all, this has been the best time of my life. I`m doing what I have dreamed about doing for many years, and have had the added bonus of making many of what I consider good friends. I`ve never been so cash poor, but friend rich in my life, but I`m happy, that counts for a lot in my book. My wife has been very supportive of my knifemaking, as have the rest of my family. Actually I think she likes me getting up at 2:30 each morning to make coffee before she gets up, and coming home to a clean house and dishes done. Yes, I admit to being a good little housekeeper. :o This probably sounds pretty sappy, but I mean everything I`ve said. (and no, I have not been drinking :D) To all my friends, customer or not, thanks!

John

You are VERY welcome John. You are a craftsman and gentleman and I hope to have the opportunity to meet you some day. I wish you continued success in your business.

It's been a pleasure for me too. I hope things continue to go well for you. All we really have is our family and friends when it comes down to it.

BTW I am excited about the Red Mycarta and the Maroon as well. Gotta decide what to put the Red on I am working on a drawing now but i have no idea how to send it other that snail mail.

Even though I haven't yet bought one of your knives (except for a Tin Knife which I'm really excited about) I really like the vibe around here. You are honest, straightforward, accommodating to your clients and are willing to listen and take suggestions. That's really rare in this day and age. I can't wait to try out your Bushcrafter and get one of your creations in my hand. The fact that so many folks around here use your knives is a testament to not only your skill as a knifemaker, but as a good person that people feel good about supporting.

Snail mail works fine, send it when you are ready.

You know I'm one of the biggest fans of your work. One day I hope to have several. Thanks for changing careers and bringing us the blades we want!

It has been an extreme pleasure of me as well. A sincere thank you, and best wishes for this year. I hope it is the start of a busy and prosperous year! Thank YOU John.

I think you and I are the only guys who like clip points. Wait untill you see the one I`m working on now.

Absolutely John! As you know I'm a big fan of both your knives and your character.

How soon you forget. Long Clip Hunter was what got me involved with JK Knives.

hopefully i'll be ordering something from you soon, i really want a tin knife....:o

You are a bad role model :D. You make me want to quit college and become a craftsman. But unfortunately I would never have the balls to take my future into my own hands.
