I've not been up to much knife related lately, due to currently going through a break-up with my other half.
However, my mood lightened today when Blade magazine arrived and I saw my ugly mug in knifemakers showcase!:D
Its always been an ambition of mine to have my work published, and getting some positive feedback from other makers/collectors has definitely helped spur me on!

A BIG congratulation to you Ian.
I saw the piece in Blade. A Beautiful Bill Moran inspired fighter by the way.

I was pleasantly surprised as I remember reading a post on one of the forums (probably BritishBlades) where you stated your inspiration to be in Blade someday. Well it didn't take long.

I tip my hat (if I wore one) to you sir. :thumbup:

Thanks chaps! It seems to me that the knifemaking community can be relied on to cheer you up.
You're spot on Mr Rhea, tonight the sails feel less deflated than they have recently.:)
I'm also getting a very strong urge to return to the shop.
And thats definitely a good sign:thumbup:

By the way - The price should have been in Pounds, not Dollars. I'm cheap - but not that cheap!
