I wanted to say thank you to all of my customers, old and new, who have emailed or called me, to encourage me to continue to make knives. It`s a real "pick me up" when I get these sort of things, and I appreciate it.
Now for my plan. My wife, "The Boss", keeps telling me I need to spend money to make money (smart lady). So what I`m going to do, is to continue to take orders, both standard models, and customer designs, and also spend some money on extra materials to hopefully make at least 4 or 5 knives to post for sale each month. These might be a standard model, or something I dream up that might sell. I will be posting these here in my forum, and in the exchange forum.
So that`s the plan. Will it work remains to be seen, but what the hell, I like making knives! :D
Thanks,
John

You are welcome. Like I have said, I own more of your knives than any other maker. I just plain out like them! They beg to be used and have a character that appeals to me. You are a good guy and good guys need support! Keep up the good work, my friend.

That's good news!
I think having some items on the exchange on a regular basis will help get your "name" out there to more of the newer members, too.

I am glad you are continuing. I have yet to get one, but once my next custom arrives, I am getting one from you.

JK newbie supporter here.
I finally emailed you today about getting a knife made.(mini tin nessie)
Then came back here & started reading threads & saw that you were shutting down & got really bummed.
Then read more & saw the thread from "The Boss" that you weren't shutting down, wew, what a relief.
I've wanted to get some of your knives, but there's allways one on the makers ex that gets my attention.
Instant gratification and all that you know.
Definately make extras & put them on the ex,I'm sure they'll sell pretty damn fast.
If I don't get to them someone will.
Nice simple, functional, but beautiful knives like your's don't last long on the ex.
Like 1066vik said,it'll get your knives & name noticed by more folks.
I have had a couple knives made by makers after getting one of their knives off the ex.
Just my 2 cents.:)
Lookin forward to getting my first JK knife & more.
Myke.
