I recently bought an Alpha Dorado from the Pro Site. What a great knife. However, lockup was poor and the blade was not centered. Back to Buck it went.
I requested they replace the knife or repair the issue. Susan called me back the day after she received it and said they had the knife fixed. The repair included replacing the 12C27Mod blade with a good ol' 154CM blade. The knife is tight and damn sexy now. I really like the size, shape and look of this Alpha Dorado.

For my trouble, they tossed in a Buck 425 which just happens to be perfect since my daughter is jonesing for a Buck of her own.

It sure feels good to get a small issue knocked out. Nice home run, Buck.
 
Casey, good deal . I'll bet your daughter liked the deal too . I like the 470 as well, it cuts like a vampire . DM

Uh oh Casey, thats how my daughter got started and now she wants every knife I get.:eek:
