Thanks again for the tutorial. I've been designing knives with it every since. I have soooo many ideas I want to try out and so little time. With your idea I can move or remove rivets or change curves, or any number of changes and see the effects long before making one.
I've done a number of them this way and built them using 'weldable' steel from the hardware store. I wouldn't think of building a knife without first seeing what it looks like.
These are the templates I'm using for my very first hunting knives (a matched pair of hunters - his and hers).
I didn't take the time to add all the shading and backgrounds, because I can print these off and make templates. I can't draw worth beans, but I can drag a curve anywhere I want.
