I was surprised when I came home from work tonight with a package from Amazon, it wasn't due to arrive until tomorrow, they sure work fast. I love the little thing so far. I can't decide if I should bother to paracord wrap it or just wait until I can get my hands on the new scales. Any special recommendations on what to strip it with? I'm gonna search old threads for research but if anyone has anything they highly recommend I'm open to suggestions. It's night now so I will have to wait to try it out on some wood or food prep until tomorrow.

great lil knife aint it! I just sandpapered my blade coating off, left all the handle coating. started with like 60 grit then finished it with 1,000 grit. took me maybe 30 minutes.

more i use the 14 more I like it, I cant wait to try the new zytel out.

I decided I couldn't wait for the new zytel handles and wanted to experiment with a wrap. This will probably get cut off as soon as the new handles are available.

your welcome,it was unloaded from the truck quickly because the dock workers on on a performance rate,it was recieved and sent to storage quickly because the recievers are on a performance rate,it was stowed in a bin very quickly (my department) because I'm on a performance rate,it was picked by a very annoying picker (hate them people) very quickly because they are on a performance rate and it was shipped out very quckly too.Hope you enjoy it we worked our tails off to get it to you.

I use Kleen strip. Coating just falls off.after 15-20 minutes. I cord wrap mine but since it holds moisture I only stripped the blade. If you use a gel stripper its easy to apply only to the areas you want with a chip brush. Nice score. Now what's next?

et45: If you really work for Amazon then you do an awesome job! For the most part it's the only place I feel 100% safe shopping online (I'm sure there are plenty of other reputable dealers online, but I have a lot of experience with Amazon and they have never let me down).

Clich: What's next is a BK16 hopefully! Unless the release date is as delayed as the handles for the 14 then I might buy a Remora to tide me over, I want one for my car kit. I'll look into Kleen Strip thanks for the suggestion.
