Well Psyop and I are safely past Nashville and cruising west on I-24. Many thanks to Ethan for his unparalleled hospitality and continued recuperation.
As usual the event was a great success and we had a blast!
Good to see so many of you -
SAFE TRAVELS!!

Colonel, I could not have said it better!

+1

I need a nap -- it was great seeing those who could be here.
much merriment ensued along with knife making, sharpening, food cooking, food eating, and general BS-ing!

thanks to E for putting up with us all and providing such an incredible atmosphere for the camaraderie and shenanigans!

sorry i missed it.

as i turns out, if my plans next week fall out, i would have retro-actively been able to go

Safely home at 7 PM. Psyop would have hit his place half an hour later. Man that is a long time in the car but of course it was well worth it. Thanks to all for the event and camaraderie.

Camaraderie, jocularity, food, drink, knives and ... Ethan!

Would have loved to have been there and skipped out on all this rain!
Glad all went well, missed everyone, really hope to catch up this spring!
Looking forward to living vicariously through some pics!

Even though we stayed down at Becker base camp it was still what a Beckerhead gathering should be. This one was a little different 8t seemed. A lot of folks weren't present for onr reason or another, those were truly missed. Excellent food, Ethan on top of just being an excellent host and friend, also took on the role of evening cook for every meal. Breakfast was handled by volunteers that made it up every morning before I did. Many thanks to Derek for saving me a plate every morning. The weather wasn't awful, but definitely could've been better.

This is honestly one of the high points of my year. Since getting out of the Corps I've seeked camaraderie. This is the best group of individuals I've found. Everyone jumps in to help, there are no freeloaders. From what I've seen of other gatherings this is the case all over.

I can not say enough about how proud I am to be a part of this community. The fellowship, conversations, fireside atmosphere is second to none. I am sincerely honored and humbled to be allowed to share a fire with you all. I count all of you as close friends. Now, GFY.:D

^^^"Get Friendly Y'all?"

Sounds like a great time. I'd like to see some pics if y'all have any.

Ethan, I've always admired your designs (some definitely more than others of course). Best wishes for a continued speedy recovery. I sure wish I could have been there to enjoy your tasty cooking! :D
