So, this was my first year attending Blade as a exibitor. Hell, this was the first time I ever did a show period. I figured you might as well go big or go home. Swing for the fences so to speak. I know nobody knows me on this forum and I appologise for stinking it up with my presence, but I believe when praise is due it sould be heard by the people it is for. I have admired Andys handy work for a long time. I admire his craftsmenship, and the way he carries himself and his business. I was introduced to Andy at this years Blade show and he treated me with the upmost of respect and professionalism. Andy. Thank you from all of us here at T.M.Hunt custom knives for your wisdom and advice you shared with me. (And the beer too!) You really helped put this very nervious firstimers mind at ease. Hope to catch up with you at more shows in the future!

Andy is a great guy Todd, I'm glad you guys got to meet and have a beer together. Andy has been at Blade a few times so has a lot of knowledge about the show. I am also glad you made it to the show, hope to see you there again next year!

Lol. You are correct Mr Hunt. Andy can't help but be awesome. And you are in no way unknown. Thanks to Mr Griffin, I still want a Yuma, or Tradewater, or whatever you want to call it. ;) one of these days.......

It was an honor to meet you Tom. I hope you had a great show.

Folks, if you like comfortable handles, and I know you do, you really can't do any better than Tom's.

Both of you are first class. I was honored to meet you both for the first time at Blade. We couldn't stay for as long as we wanted but it was great to meet everyone.

I know this is a thread that's over a year old, but I just had to share that I finally picked up a Hunt knife that I've been dying to get my hands on. A 5/32" O1 Yuma. And guess what, the handle laminate just about matches my Terrassaur!

Andy was right. A nice handle design on these too. :)

Nice Schmittie! I've had my eye on the Yuma as well. I desperately need to pick one up.

Yep. I didn't see Tom at this year's show. He was probably slammed. I hope so anyway. Nice reminder, and no question about his handles. They're good.

Thanks Andy, I was there this year, did a lot better than last year. I came by your table twice, but you were not around either time. Maybe I will catch up with you if you do the Louisville show. I just live about 50 mins down the road.
