Andy,

I just wanted to say thanks for letting me hang out with you guys yesterday. I was privileged enough to spend a few hours with Andy, Dylan, and Andy's FIL on Tuesday. All three were ridiculously nice to a complete stranger. This was my first time to hang out in an actual knifemaker's shop for a while. Andy has a top notch operation and I got to see some orders, the way the shop works, and maybe I picked up a knife or three:D

I brought a couple Fiddlebacks from home with me and it is amazing to see what Andy does to a slab of steel now. I really love my old Bushcrafter, Andy said it was probably the second he ever made, but you are pumping out some sick stuff now bro.

Dylan(Dylside) is really making some sweet knives. I got to see some WIP, hopefully one of them will be mine:D Dylan was grinding blades all day. Apparently he had a pretty good teacher:thumbup: And yes, the pocket Kilo actually does exist.

I really do appreciate you guys letting me bug you yesterday. It makes me realize that knives were a good thing to have a hankering for.

Can't wait to see you guys at Blade.

Sometimes you meet a person, and you know that that person will be a lifelong friend. Thats how it was when Andy showed up at the shop. Then he goes and pulls out the second Bushcrafter I ever made. Knife #20 or so overall. I dug out a pic...

It was the second bushcrafter, and only the second non Nessie knife I'd done.

Andy, I forgot to offer you the clean up and mark service on those. I intended to. It'd change the geometry on the early bushie considerably and it may rattle a bit in its kydex. But if you're interested its available and free.
