I just wanted to thank Andy for all the help he has given me over the last couple of months. I am slowly progressing in my making and with the kind help of Andy and Bill Akers Im getting better. Andy is a class act and I hope I can relay some of the things Ive learned from him to an up and comer in the future. Thanks Andy and I can't wait to finally get one of your knives!

It shipped monday Chris. Its been a pleasure to help you bro. I like the style of knives you dream up. Please feel free to post your work, WIP threads, etc here at my forum.

And Chris, your work is progressing faster than you give yourself credit for I think.

I've never made a knife in my life but do a lot of carpentry and woodworking. And I can tell Andy has quite a few tricks up his sleeve so definitely pay attention to his advice. Aquafortis, scotchbrites, polyurethane! Good stuff man...

Yes, Andy is great at what he does and the info I have gleaned from him through these forums has also helped me immensely. He has been a huge influence on my style and technique. Thanks Andy as well!!

Yeah Strat, those Scotchbrites are killer. I actually have a curly ash handle I need to stain to match a Kentucky Hawk so I will be trying out the Aquafortis as well.
