I just wanted to make a thread thanking Benchmade for their product and support, there has been too much negativity on the board since Benchmade officially arrived. I haven't been involved in the knife community for a long time, but to this point Benchmade is my favorite manufacturer of knives. Being a lefty the Axis Lock works really well for me, and the ability to swap the clips around to go into my left side pocket works great.

Also, you guys have terrific customer service. I called to get a couple deep pocket clips awhile back and instead of getting the 3 I requested I ended up getting about 20 with the screw sets requested and all sorts of other screws also, basically someone has a seizure when sending me parts.

To date I haven't had any issues with anything I have purchased, everything has worked flawlessly, CS has been great the one time I needed it, so thanks BM for being a great company for me to date.

My little collection for reference.

PS.....what is coming out at Blade Show? I am 20 minutes from there and plan on being there Friday for early opening so hook me up with what I am going to be buying.

Nice collection. Stop by the booth at blade. I will be at the show but may not be at the booth the whole time.

I just wanna chime in and say that my 556-1 also came prefect into my possession. Also had som GREAT communications with Benchmade regarding some clips I wanted.

All in all they leave me with an impression that I'm gonna be well taken care of if there is any problems down the road.

I've not got nearly the number of Benchmades that most of you guys have, but the ones I do have are awesome knives. Now, granted, only one if them is a folder, a 275, but most of my knives from every maker are fixed blades. And aside from arriving not as sharp as *I* prefer, my 275 is and has been issue free. But most knives don't come with my needed level of sharpness. I like a knife to cut my eyeballs when I look at it from across the room.

Thought I might add to this as well. Bought my 590BK last Saturday. Last night I managed to catch the clip on a door jamb coming in the house and snapped it right off. Sent BM an email about 6pm explaining the situation and asked them if I could purchase a new clip? A few minutes after 8pm I received an email from them letting me know they had received it and there would be no charge for the clip. Pretty good in my book considering my problem wasn't due to anything BM did.

The same thing happened to me, and I snapped the clip on my 940-1. I called BM Customer Service, and I had a new clip in a few days, free of charge. All my BM knives have been excellent.

I have two Benchmades now--mini Grips, a Ritter and the 556-1. I will soon have a 940 (which one, I don't know yet) as well. As a lefty I also appreciate that most of their models are fully ambidextrous. Great designs, great customer support, left hand friendly, USA made: Fantastic, and thank you!

I am going to have to join this party also.
I have about 30 BMs. Around 20 were bought new. I had absolutely no issues with a single one.
Every one I have is centered, has no play in any direction, has fantastic action, rides great in pocket and arrived sharp......really sharp. Maybe not so sharp that hair will jump off your arm before the blade gets near it, but plenty sharp.
Maybe I don't put my knives under a powerful electron microscope searching for microscopic flaws, but I do give them a couple of once overs.
Customer Service is literally unmatched in this industry.
I buy them second hand with a clear head because they will get them in new shape for free and quickly.
I'm a satisfied BM customer.

Well unfortunately I've gotten no further communication from BM since their email on 5/20 and have not received the new pocket clip either. Guess I need to either pocket carry my Boost or rob a clip off something else? Maybe a phone call is in order? I just thought from the quick email response things were rolling along.

I just got my clip and a pair of omega springs in the mail. Fantastic. Thanx BM!!

Update: Received a new clip and two screws today. Took about a month but it was free and totally my fault for breaking the clip so I'm very satisfied. Thank you Benchmade.

Just as a FYI visual, I called BM awhile back and asked for quite a few clips to change everything to deep pocket....well, someone threw up in my bags, this is what I have left after changing everything out. Waiting on some Anthem replacement screws and some more deep carrys in black now.
