Just completing my very First chef's knife.
I was encouraged by a few members here on Bladeforums, and a few locals who liked a different knife, (but it shared some kitchen like features) to start making cooking knives.
I wanted to give back to my local community this year. It wasn't a good year for me, and I felt a little effort helps everyone, myself included, so I figured this was a good opportunity to try a few new things....

gifted me a beautiful blank of stabilized maple burl. First time working with it. I enjoyed it and will want to do more of that. I feel it was easy to get good results. I'm Not a glossy, fancy, highly polished sort of fellow. I'm rough, and my blades are even worse....but This handle made me feel Pretty.... Haha.
I hope the new owners, the Winner of the raffle appreciates it just as much. The proceeds from the sold tickets are going to a charity to buy Christmas presents for local children who are less fortunate than us...
Thank You for looking at my work......Thanks.
