Just wanted to say again what a nice fella ole' Mr. Bump is. Some while back I got to see one of Bruce's small bowies up close (when Tess had more time for sheaths) and loved the blade pattern. He told me to go ahead and use it and it's become one of my favorite small bowie patterns. I know we all pass patterns/styles around...I do it myself. Just like to give credit where it's due.

Below is my latest "Bump" Bowie I just finished for a customer.

Yep that sure is a nice design and very nicely made knife! The handle materials really go well together, that little spacer of blue is a nice touch.

How long is the blade on that?

Sean

Thanks guys. The blade on that is 5 1/2" of 5160. The handle throat is recon. lapis but, the stones around the knife/sheath are the real thing sent to me by one of my customers stationed in Afganistan. The handle is stabilized/dyed purple Box Elder Burl done for my by K&G. Tess thought the hummingbird would match well with the handle wood/colors....I agree.
:D

J thanks for the credit but stop now because yours look better than mine!
Riiiight! You kow you can get in trouble for lying like that Bruce. I still appreciate it though.
:D

That's a beauty alright! It may be Bruce's blade but that bad boy still says "Mountain Hollow" all over it. Way to go J and Tess!

That's some beautiful lapis J, we all need customers like that! Of course, if I got something like that Jeanie would just appropriate it for her windowsill rock collecton... ;)

Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful! You're gonna convert me to getting stuff stabilized yet..... Great Job Tess. That sheath rocks!
