I am constantly amazed at the lack of flames here, especially after visiting other forums on BFC. This sure seems like crap on Busse month, doesn't it?

No knife is perfect, but the Busse's fill the bill for Colorado woods as good as most - although I still like my khukuris, so now I have double the weight to carry, dang it... ;)

Seriously, it's nice to go to one forum where things are kept at an adult level.

Well when your at the top of your game like Busse is you have to expect all the others to try to knock you down, after all that's how they build themselves up.

You are correct it is nice to spend time on a forum where people aren't always getting bad mouthed, slammed, stabbed in the back.

That's why I enjoy it here. :D:D
 
It's also the friendliest forum that I've been on here
at BF. Most other forums besides ATC, don't answer
questions or respond to comments. I like it here
at least I feel welcome.:)
 
i'd agree with that...Andy Prisco at ATC is pretty damm cool...oh yeah, Jerry too:D
 
When you are at the top of the food chain, everyone tries to knock you down. All of the recent criticism is a result of Busse putting out a superior product. Jealousy is a bitter trait. I don't know how many of you have seen "the thread" by the notorious Jeff Randall on the survival forum, but Jerry made an interesting point. He stated that nearly 80% of Busse Combat's contracts are from law enforcement and military. That would explain the wait times for orders. It also speaks volumes about the design and intended use of his knives.
 
I think the people that frequent the BF Busse forum are more friends than forumites having a yack. Hell, I feel like I know most of these guys like they lived next door.....then again, if that skunk boy lived next door, I would be divorced and an alcoholic...so probably a good thing that its day here while its night there...:D

You wont find a better forum on BF....

The HI is very friendly as well, lots of informative posts there on large knife usage.

Oh and Gundy, I have already been in your neck of the woods, would take some serious cash to get me there anytime soon, but isnt spending one year in Australia worth 5-10 years anywhere else?;)
 
I can only compare this Busse section to several others out on the net for lack of flame wars andrational, adult conversation. Those would be the Surefire Discussion Board, Candlepower Forums, and, for the most part, Usual Suspects Net.

The worst I've seen in these have been strong disagreements, with good debate on different subjects, but never resorting to the typical keyboard commando "shine-ola".

Well, except on USN, where we tell people that they suck, but we mean it in a good way.

"The Skunk-Man has a great collection of Busses. He sucks." That sort of thing. :) :p

Michael, I dont know mate, the states were sure nice while I was there, and Canada! Whoa! Now thats bush.....give me 5 years there!

DonL....I tell people here that they "SUCK" all of the time, now they will know I was joking!:D

For instance, Eric sucks, as does skunk boy me old mate....and Jerry, you suck too!

Hang on a minute, I got a variant last week, I SUCK!;)
