Thanks to those at Chris Reeve Knives for the tune up on my Small Classic. I tried to break it down and lube it. After 4 hours it was together with screwed up washers and on its way to CR for repair.Got it back in record time with a note saying since I wasnt Mr.Goodwrench ,dont try it. Just kidding ,but Stephanie did get a laugh when I admitted Iwasnt Mr.GW. Thanks again.

Hi Guy G, CRK customer service is indeed great.

Just curious, what method did you use for assembly?

Ted

I tried to use the official method from memory. I was in Roanoke at the time. I never got the washers to stay lined up.By the time I did get it feeling right ,I had boogered the washers. Oh well, they got a good laugh and after my wife got done laughing at me,she sent it in.(ps. I have a T shirt that says' Mr.Make It Worse') my reputation preceeds me.

yep, they listen to what your expectations are instead of telling u what they r going to do. this relates into the customer being happy when the work is complete.

i had ordered a custom sebbie and after the year wait received it and was not happy with outcome of design....i sent it back and called and explained what i wanted done and 1 week later i got it back and was happy... not many other manufacturers would of handled that custom order of mine any better and most once it was out the door would of said too bad.

CRK is very good at keeping customers happy and that is what counts in a very competitive business....along with a kick ass product :)

Im a truck driver, so I get around a bit. Except to where the knife shows are.
