Hi Craig:
Got my Mini-Jungle today. A very nice item, relatively better workmanship (little spiffier

)
than the SN #1. They are impressive together, almost like having a Hindu
version of the Japanese daisho.
I'm pleased with both knives. I am sure they will be able to handle any task I
put them too. BTW, the transaction with Gurkha House (Craig Gottlieb) was a
pleasure. Thanks again.

Jumbi,

Glad you liked them both. I think you have a good set that'll keep you busy. A note of advice. I store all of my khukuris OUTSIDE the sheath to prevent rust. Even with that thick stuff that Lalit paints on to every khukuri I get, I sometimes find rust when they arrive, and have to buff it off. Of course, if he DIDNT send the knives with a thick coat of grease, I'm sure they'd be orange when they arrived.

Thanks for the advice. You mentioned perhaps telling the manufacturer to send the knives coated and "outside' the sheath to keep the grease off them once the owner puts them in the sheath. Of course, it won't make any difference if, like Cliff Stamp, they're stored oiled in the sheath. Different strokes, etc.
Thanks again
