I just got my Panawal 18" blem that was offered about a week ago. I must say, some of the best $29 I've thus spent on a knife.
I'm very happy with it. No chakma or karda or scabbard, but for $29 what do ya really expect???
First thing I did was clean it off, there's a bit of surface rust on it, but not much, and nothing that will cause any lasting problems. Then, I took it out, and with one strike I split a 2 x 6 without causing any noticible dings in the blade!!!! Oh, that's sweet.
