I, personally, have received superior customer service and superb products from CRK. I have four Reeve knives in my collection with two more on order. I will certainly buy more in the future.

The Reeve knives I own are a marvel of fit and finish as well as art and engineering. They are as durable as any knives I own. On the other hand they are not “beaters”. I own knives that I can open cans with, cut up kindling, throw at trees, etc. My small Sebenza has seen tough service with daily carry. On the other hand if I’m cutting up cardboard boxes I use my Leatherman Wave not my Damascus Sebenza. Not to say that the Sebenza couldn’t do it but my momma didn’t raise no dummy.

In the past I have been sent replacement parts for items lost by local venders. I was prepared to, and would have been happy to, pay for these items but they were sent free.

The staff has always been responsive, courteous, and efficient in my dealings with them. On occasion, going well beyond the norm of customer service. My Large Wood Inlay Damascus Sebenza was shipped to meet birthday time requirements. Yes, we did give them enough advanced notice to make this possible but I was still impressed they made the timeline.

This is MY personal experience. I would be happy for other members with positive personal experience to post to this thread.

Thanks,
Fred

Amen again.
Thanks for a superior product and service.
I carry a small Sebenza at all times, use it for any cutting chore that comes up.
If it ever needs refurbishing or repair, I look forward to the fair and equitable service that I have always received in the past.

I own a lot of foldingknives. I have Benchmade, Cold Steel, REKAT, Spyderco, AlMar, Junglee, Katz, Camillus, Emerson, Microtech, Master of Defence, Buck, Gerber, SOG +++. I have used them all, but non of them are even close to the Sebenza when it comes to performance. I spend about 60 days each year hiking, skiing and diving. The only foldingknife i bring with me out in the wild is the Sebenza. But I know one thing, every foldingknife has a week point: The LOCK. That is why I always carry a fixed blade with me.
For the people on this forum that states that they will never buy a Sebenza again, I have only one thing to say: Try another knife and prepare to be disapointed.

Warranty or no warranty, the Sebenza is simply the best!!

Thanks to Chris Reeve Knives for the good work.

And Amen Again!

I own a Large, Plain Sebenza and a Mountaineer II. Both are great knives! I have called Chris Reeve Knives twice to order accessories (a belth sheath and a new clip). Both orders were handled perfectly. I have no doubt that the Reeve's will take care of any problem I may have with my knives in the future.

I have been reading the Reeve's Forum since the old days with Knifeforums and then Bladeforums. I have never read a single harsh word from either of them. They have always been more than willing to answer questions and offer help. I have read story after story about their outstanding "Above and Beyond" customer service.

I have been outraged and disgusted by some of the posts over the past several days. ONE person posted a comment questioning why he was being charged for a repair! Anne gave a brief, reasonable explanation. That should have been enough. Instead, we had a "Trial by Internet! This happened even though we were told by Anne that she and Chris were out of town and unable to check their email for several days! This discussion has even been spread to other forums!

Now the original poster has received his knife back and he is very happy. Unfortunately, the damage is done.

I'm sure that when the Reeve's return home and read this forum they will be VERY disappointed and upset about this. I would not blame them if they decided to stop participating in this forum. I hope this doesn't happen.

Hallelujah and Praise Be! Nothing but the best from the folks at Chris Reeve Knives.

When they introduced the Classic Sebenza last year I sent a message to inquire if the set with the #20 was still available (my lucky number). Bridget informed me that it was being held for me. I couldn’t ask for better service than this! A Company that can remember my particular peculiarities is something special indeed.

I still can't believe I held off on getting a Sebbie for almost two years because of the price! At least I now know the truth...CRK rocks!
