A fellow forummite Darkfin made me a few lanyards as a gift. i never expected what i was going to get would be so nice. this is the best i can do to thank him for his work. I feel this realy gave my ash the personaly it needed. i hadn't planed on stripping it all the way down but the gift demanded it. Thank's again Darkfin. i hope i get to meet you in person at blade.

thnks guys i met Darkfin about a year ago over at spyderco forum i bought the fb16 hossum forester from him we ran into each other over on the exchange and he said he had a few lanyards for me . as i said im very pleased:D
 
im working on the a high polish on that ash will keep you all posted with PICS. i figure it will take about a week to finish it. im waiting on my edge pro apex to come before i finish the sanding.
 
Thanks for the Kudos, Robert! But I am no lanyard expert, I just copied those from other well known experts in these parts! They sure do look nice on your blades!

Hmmm, perhaps I should see if there are any Busse Block rooms left--I PMed Amy and she gave me the info, but I was lazy and decided to keep the room I had already booked. Perhaps I should rethink that, as this bunch seems to be really friendly (when they arent fighting over one ganza knife or another, that is!)
 
you would be a welcome part of the group you have much to contribute to the whole. email amy-o and get you hog name. how about DarkHOG i know you'll like it here once you get used to the trough these guys are more freindly than over at spyderco. i know thats hard to do but these guys are great in the little time i've been here i have seen these guys do things for other hogs that would make you stand up with pride. the guyS over at spyderco are very nice but this group i one step above.YOU GUYS MAKE ME PROUD TO BE HERE.:thumbup:
 
Heh. Never really considered myself worthy of a Hog name, as I only have a handful of Busses (5), compared to the number of Spydies I have (circa 150). It would be really cool if Busse had a collector club like spyderco, where you were always offered the same number...I suspect I would not be lucky enough to get a number though, if they only did 200 like Spyderco does!

Are there any rooms left in the Busse block there at your hotel?

it's not just about the knives it's about the pepole email amy-o and ask for a name you a worthy turst me.tell her why you would be a good person to have in the busse forum.
i made a phone call just now they still have rooms.
 
Ok Robert, go on and nominate me to Amy for a hog name if you are so inclined. And I will make you more lanyards with hog's heads on them as soon as I find a hog's head (as opposed to skull) supplier!

And if you happen to run across a red handled NON fire warden, PLEASE give me a shout! :D
