i've always been a fan of mashed cat sheaths, and they just keep getting better.
the knife doesn't move at all when sheathed, despite a fair amount of of metal being removed from the edge area, and the drop being extended slightly on the tip. a bit of a rattle is usually a problem with most kydex after i sharpen a knife from the factory edge, but not so here. this one is nice and tight, and still easy to unsheath (it's normally one or the other).
also, after finally getting a chance to use this knife, i think it's my favorite all around knife. light than the tank buster (previous favorite), and as others have said, it chops as well as much larger, heavier knives.
