Everyone's contribution has really helped keep it fun and that means a lot. I am also able to make knives full time for you guys and my family which just rocks! I just can't say enough.

Thank you Dan! Just keep doing what you have been doing, love the attention to detail.

Dan you are a Good dude. You are funny, intelligent, a great family man, and to top it off you make a great product. You attract a certain group of people to your forum which helps to keep it interesting.

Here's a pic of the view from my porch in mammoth creek utah. Thought I'd keep a forest theme going for you dan.

And here were some ravens that were eye balling me.

Amazing how quiet everyone is today, odd really. Maybe just tough getting through Wednesday. Hope everyone is ok?
Broke my glasses at work today, being a vocational teacher that was tough. Driving home 30 miles was a trip, but needed sprare eyes. Reminded me that without tools we're out to lunch and since we are all knife nuts, what would we do without?
I was in Washington State and found a stream running down a hill that had volcanic glass washed up on the sides, cool stuff, natural blades!

Thank God for Daniel, we've come a long way! Enjoy

Don

:D Thanks guys! I was just saying thanks... wow you guys rock!

Hey Don! I get carried away in the shop at times... a lot of the time! :D I worked straight through most of the day... after that I had promised my wife we would go to the campsite and took off covered in blasting dust and went fishing!

I hope you have good luck the glasses, that is always tough! My buddy gave me some nice safety glasses with lenses in the bottom that are getting used quite a lot in the shop... it's much easier to hit that scribe line now!

Tools are key! Even if all I used was a file and a pipe forge to make my knives think of all the effort that went into mining and processing those materials. One day I might make some knives that way!

I'm big into rock collecting and even made my living that way (collecting on claims/cutting stone) before I started knifemaking. I wanted to add some stone scales to a blade and a kit just wasn't doing it for me. I decided to look into making the blade... for a while! I still haven't made that knife. :D

Thanks Don!

I want to spend more time on videos and pics... look out for more soon!

Thanks. And uhm, thanks again. :D

I'm bored and upset with the world. The world gets a time out.

I personally know about the good stuff you are doing and want to say thanks! I'm cheesey I know but it's the good guys like you that keep things going. It will come around!

You've come a long way from making knives on the back porch. We're all glad we could help.

Thanks IMWILSON!

I can't believe ll of this started with a file and a vise! It seems like last week when I moved into the tent... I made a lot of knives outside in the winter!

It hasn't been long...

Your success couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Or more deserving. And, just think, you're still at the beginning of your journey. We are all looking forward to seeing (and owning!) what you come up with in the years ahead. Go Daniel!! :)
