I wanted to take a second to say thanks to everyone for all their support and interest in my work as I'm getting started out! Thanks to everyone interested in my Crickett yesterday and congrats to Warrior108 for scooping it up!

I'm happy too share that I do have three more of this model in the works and I just posted pictures of their progress on my instagram gpknifeworks. I post as much as I can there and if you want to see more of what I'm up to that is a good spot to get a behind the scenes look at projects in progress as well as finished knives of mine. Please follow me there and always feel free to message me.

I'm working to continue posting a new knife every week and keep them coming!

I'm still an apprentice and don't even have stencils to put a makers mark on my blades yet! That's coming soon though but anyway I just wanted to say thanks again and I feel really happy and proud to be a part of such a welcoming and supportive community here.

It was really cool to see a lot of the "big guns" aka "sharks" going for that Cricket. You're off to a great start. Congratulations Kyle!

Thanks! I was super happy with the response on the Cricket, I keep one of the original prototypes close to me all the time and it's a super handy little friend.

I'll be bugging Jerry aka warrior108 to keep me posted to how well the Cricket performs as a paring knife!

It was super impressive to see your range from the large kitchen knife last week to the tiny Crickett this week. FNG or not, I'm excited to see more from you. Congrats on having the first knife taken off the board this week!

But Douglas, what if I just want to use it as a neck knife or a letter opener .. anything but a paring knife? >-)

It's your knife you can use it however you like of course, I'm looking forward to hearing how you like it. It sure is sharp and it feels great in the hand. It's also is pretty dang good looking if I might add. I know you'll be pleased with it, I know I am!
