thanks for all the belt advise

Up until yesterday I had been using zirc belts, well yesterday my first order od ceramics came in and all I can say is its a good thing I had a respirator on because my jaw would have hit the floor. I am amazed at how much quicker and easier these things cut metal and leave a much nicer finish. I also picked up a couple of Norax structured abrasive belts for post HT clean up and finishing. These things cut like the dickins too and give an even nicer finish.

So to anyone that has given me advise in the past, I do listen and take it to heart, it just may take me a bit to get to your suggestion because I am testing out the others too.

As for belts, I think I am staying with ceramics now and I would recommend the same thing to anyone starting out with a grinder.
