After such a fine job by Buck in refurbishing a 110 folding hunter, I sent Joe an email inquiring about a stag handle on my 30+ year old 119 Special which I had cracked the phenolic handle. Joe replied that generally Buck doesn't get involved in doing so, due to the amount of work involved, but that he did just happen to have a few pieces of stag that would be the right size.

I sent in the knife and it came back promptly and WOW. It is just plain gorgeous. Fine piece of stag and flawless refinishing yielding about the finest 119 Special I have seen.

Thanks again Joe and the shop at Buck. It is a pleasure dealing with you.

I received my first Custom Buck 110 in Stag, I also have a Randall in Stag, I love the stuff, your new one has me thinking again!
It would be nice to have a fixed blade Buck to go with the 110 in Stag.

Tom

Don't you just love this stuff!

Now you've got me thinking...I have the fixed blade 119 in stag but not a 110. I do have a couple of Buck friction folders in stag though. Something about it just seems like the most natural choice for knife scales/handles.
