I posted not too long ago about possibly trading away my sebenza to fund a purchase of an XM-18. Several of you advised me to keep my sebenza and save for the XM. Well that is what I decided based on the fact that I really do like my sebenza. My favorite part is that it is such a great slicer. Better than a para 2 that I had.
When I got the XM in my hands I was impressed with the fit and finish, the ergos, etc. It is a great knife and will definitely have a spot in my rotation. However, it certainly doesn't replace my sebenza, it compliments it very nicely. Despite the XM being buttery smooth, rock solid, and confidence inspiring, etc. it doesn't compare to the smoothness of my sebenza (although pretty darned close).
Basically what I am saying is that they are both great knives that can't replace one another. I am very happy that I have kept my Sebenza.
