I sit here playing with a new Kershaw OD-1, (bought on clearance at WallyWorld for 30 bucks) and it seems to me with the speed and ease it deploys, if it weren't for switchblades coming first, the AO and flipper knives would be hounded even more than they presently are. I wouldn't have been able to purchase it so readily and for so little. I couldn't carry it legally in most locales, co-workers would be terrified of me deploying it, etc. etc. This knife, along with many others like it are as close to a "legal" switchblade as you'll find! Sweet!
