I was starting to wonder what planet Spyderco knives were coming from! I always thought that blade shape with the big assed hole was just butt ugly, but people seem to love them:rolleyes: All the hype about the action, sharpness, ergonomics, and general quality, blah, blah, blah……well I had to try one. Got a DLT edition PM2 and discovered that all the hype is basically true. That “ugly” hole in the blade sure makes it easy to open - better than any thumb stud I have experienced! I still think it’s ugly but I love it! And, being a big fan of the Axis Lock, I have to say I am very impressed with that Compression Lock👍

I started to use Spyderco so much, when I grabbed a Buck with thumbstuds that started getting hung up in the food, I got irrationally irritated. Spyderco is the best, nothing to hang up your cuts.
