Mission accomplished. My son is leaving July 1st for sniper school and asked if he could have one of the Carson knives to bring to sniper school with him. Just out of curiosity I made the post on here to make sure he would not be beating up something of great value. I treasured these knives and planned on passing them on to him BUT was not sure if now was the right time. After reading the posts together HE SAID "dad lets put them back up. I do not need to use those for school, they need to be kept exactly as they are." That is the response I wanted to hear from him. Thanks again everyone for confirming what I thought to begin with and also letting my son see the value of exactly what he is getting... With that being said I am sorry if I ruffled any of the moderators feathers on here as this was my first post and I tried several times to edit my post after the post was up but I was unsuccessful.
