Dear Bill

Now this is one hunk of Beautiful Steel, Silver, Brass and wood! My first HI product. Just arrived. Incredible workmanship. Exceeds my expectations!

It is truly not fair, nor appropriate to describe this sword by the composite parts. It would be like describing a fine master painting as having good pigments and canvas.

There is something that goes far beyond the materials. A spirit, an energy, a force, an emotion --- a palpable presence. I have sensed this in my fine antique weapons, but never in a modern, new-made piece! All I can say is that a lot of love and heart went into its creation.

Only one problem, me. I fell yesterday and sprained my right shoulder, so I can't get out and cut things up. Well I'll just get out my camelia oil and do a little polishing. It does not need it, but I can pretend.

The scabbard carving is also great. Ganesha is cool. I'll post some photos later.

Thsnks again Tio Bill

Magnificent Piece!

I know exactly what you mean- "There is something that goes far beyond the materials. A spirit, an energy, a force, an emotion --- a palpable presence." These blades are LIVING artifacts. And you really can't describe it to anyone. They handle one and they 'know' or they don't.

"If you have to explain it, they just wouldn't understand.";) :D
