It was great and though I cannot mention everyone specifically my thanks to everyone I met this weekend at Ethans.
First of all to Ethan for his hospitality, wisdom, the contest knife and his great cooking. To PSYOP and 1066Vic for getting me to go in the first place. To Joe, Pointy, Murph, and many others for all I learned from you. To Doc for his great class and also to Gretchen who allowed me the opportunity to assist in a very small way in her getting her very first knife (in pink mind you). To TM Hunt for giving me the chance to take home a couple of his great knives and also for his advice on a small repair I need to make. To Arkanian for sharing current info on his neighborhood which is the same neighborhood in which I grew up many years ago (he lives 4 blocks from where I used to live); small world is it not? To the Captain who surely gets the prize for coming the farthest distance, to K9 Handler who made the fancy scales I "won" in the chopping contest, to Hawk for sharing his army story and to everyone who was just a good neighbor on the mountain.
Finally to Moose who I have wanted to meet for a long time. We shared some thoughts Sunday morning around the fire in the rain and Moose I really like that BK16 -thank you for that!
My apologies to everyone I missed and I hope to see you all again some day.
