Just a quick post to thank both Hunter Jrg and Woodrow for their generosity for hosting two Case GAW's (a Muskrat and Peanut).
I couldn't believe how lucky I was to receive them both.
Both are beautiful knives, the Muskrat was shiny and new and the P'nut well loved with a whole lot of character and a walk and talk, the blades closing with a crisp snap adding to its swagger.
I put both to good use since I received them as I was in the middle of a move. Moving created an enormous stack of Cardboard boxes, and renovations to the new home have kept me busy.
The muskrat is a laser cutter for cutting up cardboard for recycling, as well as slicing up an apple or two! I'm starting to understand why having two blades of identical shape is so useful, one loses an edge just pop open the other and carry on.
The P'nut has always been one of my favourite patterns and the one I received from Woodrow must have some stories to tell! Great little knife and I put it to use doing some plumbing reno's where a thin sturdy sharp blade did the trick. The clip blade cut through plastic plumbing water lines without effort and the pen blade was perfect for scoring some old adhesive holding a sink to the wall.
Thanks once again Gents, Your gifts are truly appreciated!
