A while back Guyon did a flash contest for some plastic handle liners that I was fortunate enough to win. I never figured liners would make a difference but boy was I wrong. I added them to my BK-4 and BK-7. With the little bit of added thickness those 3/16 knives feel more like my beloved BK-2.

Thanks Guyon!

I like both the colors. Gotta smooth out the rough edges though. No big deal.

I found some flexible cutting boards that I want to make liners for my 16. I am thinking orange with the peanut butter scales.

I need to make some for my 9. Been talking about it forever, just need to do it. Probably end up modding my 9 before I make liners.

I think orange liners with black handle scales would be the bomb digitty.

Thats funny cuz just today i was looking for liner material and found a good website for it in all different colors and sizes. They also have 3 & 5 layer liners in sheets ready to be cut. Check em out if u r in the market for some. Texasknife.com

I think you would be better off using high density polyethylene that can be found in a variety of colors from a plastics company(i'm not sure if its ok for me to link them?)

Im pretty sure the site i was looking at had some of that ass an option as well bit i will make sure before i buy any. Just curious, what makes it better than any other plastic liner material? Thanks for the heads up by the way!

I'm not sure if there is anything that makes it better then another plastic but it's what cutting boards are made of so it's a tough durable plasic. Another plus is it's inexpensive you can get a .03*24*47 inch sheet for 8 bucks.

Dang that is cheap! If u dont mind would u pm me the site addy when you have time. Thanks a lot
