This is my first in Hog ware with the NBFBM and I must say I'm extremely impressed. These are not very good photos yet since I got it a few hours ago. I just wanted to say thanks to Jerry for making an awesome piece of steel. This is an awesome chopper with Swine Shaving Sharpness. Hopefully there will be a INFI bolo or Kurki coming soon ;););). Thanks once again Jerry for bringing in the big choppers.

Here's the NBFBM in comparison to the bolo and dog fathers (CG and LE)

I am so damn glad I got the NMFBM, This is truely an awesome knife and sorry but those that say it has no function or is a waste, sorry but this knife is very usable for a big knife.

Thanks Jerry and all the Busse Crew, especially Amy-O who always helps everyone.

odd that it weights in at 1.5lbs, if I remember correctly Jerry said it was one ounce heavier then the FFBM..... Which should put it @ 1 kilo (2.2lbs), I must admit it does feel far lighter in my hand then I expected

The DF, which clocks in at around one pound, is a great weight for a chopper. It felt somewhat more tip heavy than my Basic 9, but performed equally well in the chopping role although less quick in the hand as a fighting blade.

Jerry got the new mistress right: not too thick/heavy, super good looks coupled with optimal blade size in the short machete range with just that little bit extra in the sweet spot. As I previously predicted, this will become the 'must have' Busse that combines form and function for the serious outdoor survivalist. Even the axes are jealous of this one. And yes, you will kick yourself if you did not snag at least a CG with that tasty black, stealth soaked handle.

yes sir-ee.thank you.

i will be taking mine to the mountains first thing in the morning to test her out something fierce

Congrats man....She's a bigun!

Hoping to see mine next week. It would be really cool to take it hunting with me next weekend:thumbup:

I don't have mine yet, so I can't say either way. Does anyone have any precision weighing instruments to test how much one of those really weighs? :D

Sorry I don't have a digital scale, I just have one of those cheap luggage scales to get a basic idea. I'm not sure what the exact weight is, we use this scale to keep the luggage with in certain weight. In feel, it seems to feel around the same weight as the dogfather. I noticed as well that it is a lot than I expected as well.

 Thanks for those pics - I can't wait to receive mine! I will weigh mine with my Rapala electronic fish scale - works pretty well.;)

got to hold ducci's nmfbm today, awesome blade, i made a good call in buying a couple!

The NMFBM came at the right time for me, I told myself I wanted a large Busse, was thinking about FFBM or the FFSH but I am so Glad that Jerry put out the NMFBM, truely the best of all of them. The more I play with it the more I like it. It is the KNIFE!!!!

Thanks again Jerry,
RickJ

I gave my NMFBM a pretty thorough beating last night, and I have to say- with the NMFBM, you have REAL BIG POWER! It's almost gonzo how much power you get into your swings with the thing. I chopped sideways into a small stump, thinking it would just chop into the wood. It chopped into the wood alright- it also blew the entire stump out of the ground- ripped it off of the roots and sent dirt flying. The thing has almost explosive power.

I did some chopping on an old, tough railroad tie- and the blade sinks in almost the entire depth of the blade with each "THWACK!" You don't even have to swing very hard. This is a knife to be respected. The NMFBM has surpassed the FBMLE and is now my all-time favorite Busse.
