I don't know how many of y'all have ordered custom knives but I have ordered or attempted to order from 3 different makers. One maker took my order and now 2 years later I am still waiting for my knife, another maker the order process is so slow that it has become miserable, in fact I have come to the realization that it is not worth the headache and frustration so after almost two weeks of contacting the maker I am giving up and will not order a knife.
Now my experience with JK Knives has been great, I am able to order what I want in a couple emails and a couple months later my new knife is in hand. So I want to thank John over at JK knives for the positive experience otherwise I might have given up on the whole custom knife thing.

Its never a let down ordering from John. He always comes through quickly and the quality is outstanding.

:thumbup: mirros the experience I've been having with Jk knives for years as well, service ahs always been top notch long with the knives.
 
I lucked out big time by finding John and JK Knives. He was the first person I went to when I wanted to place an order and I can only say I have dealt with One (1) other guy who comes close, but isn't as thorough regarding detail and specifications from customers regarding having a knife made.

Like I said, I lucked out when I stumbled upon JK Knives and I currently own 2 with a 3rd coming around September and possibly a 4th soon, if Luck and my wallet are on my side.

I can't sing my praise high enough. In regards to knives and the people attached to them, John is my favorite in terms of custom knife craftsmanship and Ethan Becker from Becker Knives (of ka-bar) for production pieces.
I hope John doesn't mind the company and esteem that we hold him in...
