John, you shouldn't have. Really.
But I know a 10 year old who is gonna love it.:thumbup:
For the rest of you reading this. Awhile back my son fell in love with my AK EDC, and as much as I would love too, getting him one is just too much for him. (as a pocket fixed, and money wise).
So.. I saw a thread John started about a modified LDK. He was offering the plain version and one with scales with a leather pocket sheath. At 4 5/8" OAL with a 2" blade I thought it would be a nice sized pocket blade for my son.
My son's favorite color is blue, so John came up with Indigo Diamond wood for scales.
It came in today, BUT it is NOT what I expected.
For some reason, (you didn't have too) John stitched up a double pocket sheath and included a matching fire steel.:thumbup:
Thanks again John. He'll get it as soon as I pick him up Saturday morning.
(I'll post pics of him beating ,I mean using, on it this weekend.
)
