Mike,

I received the items you sent me. Thank you for the effort in locating the part I required.

Long story short...got an abused Black Military on ebay that seller misrepresented. I sent it to Spyderco to have checked out, it was returned with a note saying that they could not help as the folder was used other than what it was intended for and that parts were no longer available.
Several months go by, I'm hesistant to throw away a folder that I felt could be salvaged.
Decided to give Spyderco another call, managed to speak to Mike and explain what I though was the problem and how it could be solved.
Parts are no longer available for such an old folder but somehow,somewhere Mike dug up parts I needed. Parts were very tiny indeed but the effort and time to find and mail it out to me without any cost to me was very impressive.

Mike , you're an asset to Spyderco. Thank you

ps New part did not resolve problem, but at least I tried ;)

Even though we know Spyderco have great CS, don't think they're perfect! They're run by *gasp* humans! I just don't think we need another flamewar in this forum here about how the CS isn't perfect. *rolls eyes* But still, you guys are damn perfect by my standards.
 
I posted this on the home forum also, I called Mike this morning about a clip and some screws, left a voice mail then got busy working.
To make a long story short Mike called me back several times and didn't give up until he spoke to me personally.
To me this goes above and beyond great service.
Thank Mike again also for me Joyce IMO you all do an outstanding job. Ron.
