I'm sure most of you will recall Primble's, Primble knife store display project. The display case that caused him to fall in love with Primble knives when he was just a wee lad? (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ld-John-Primbles-amp-Display-Cabinet-Finished ) How could you forget, he was like a kid with a new toy. That case literally took him back to his childhood. I think we all had a good sense of how happy he was with his finished project. Well, I just happened to have a similar display case that has the original mounting panel and Mr. Primble was looking for ideas for ways to mount his fantastic Primble knives in the case. So, I had a digital photo made of my board and Primble ran with it from there. No big deal, I love antique and vintage displays so this was lots of fun for me! But Primble being the Kentucky gentleman that he is thought that little favor needed to be repaid.

So.......This very cool pocket slip came in the mail today!!!!!!! It seems Mr. Primble sneakily conspired with Gunstock Jack to make this sweet, personalized slip for me.
This was a totally unnecessary but really special gesture! Thank you Rob, and Barry....you sir, sure do some great leather work!

The traditional forum is a great place isn't it?:D

Thank you, thank you, thank you both!!!!!

Good stuff, there!

I just showed the pocket slip to my stepdaughter. She says "Hey M S.....those are my initials!" I snagged it right out of her grubby hands!

I am afraid there are a few more of these Barry creations that will be shown around these parts soon - since I had three total made. ;):D:D

I promised Barry I would give him a breather - after I begged. :D:D

Sometimes you just have to straighten them kids out when they get out of hand! :D

Mark - congratulations, that's a beautiful slip! Speaking from experience, Barry's craftsmanship is top-shelf and Primble is a very generous gentleman. Good on all of you!

It certainly is. Thanks for sharing another indication of its greatness. Magnificent leatherwork, Barry! Thoughtful token of your appreciation of clutch carter's contributions to your project, Primble! Thumbs up to all 3 of you.
