I don't have much time to devote to the forum right now but from what little I've seen it looks like our pal, Rusty, is doing a fine job. Many thanks, Rusty, and let's give him a deserved round of applause.

Appreciated.

Today I had a lot of honeydo's, but I'll try to catch up later. I've got pictures of a wood scabbard which shows how important listening to Bill on how to draw the khuks are. I have someone with a scanner, but I need to get over and get it put up.

Also, now that the pix of the Salyan have disappeared, I'll take a polaroid and post that too. I'm having fun at this mostly, which is 'bout as much as I want. You get to having too good a time and you come to people's attention who dissaprove of fun.

Rusty is doing the great job we all knew he would.

Now Rusty is beginning to worry about having to much fun and I know who he is talking about.LMRRAO.

I would go so far as to suggest that if Rusty's performance continues this way for the next few weeks(good job, Rusty, btw), that he should be made permanent co-moderator and the official announcement could be made on(with devilish smile and a drum roll....April 1st). Afterwards all forumites could join in the virtual khukuri dance that would spontaneously happen.

Rusty's been doing so well and seems to fit his moderating job, I almost forgot he's not Uncle Bill to send him an email to ask tracking of my GS that must have been in the air for three weeks.
Thank you, Rusty!

Rusty is doing a good job but you can't stay away too long, Bill, since you might get Rusty if you do. And if you do you might Phil like jumping off a Cliff, or at the very least throwing the entire case of Khukuris with one big Yvsa. The case might land some time in March, and land on a nest of Jay's. But if you can maintain your Will power and get home early enough, there may be no Ghosts waiting for you at 6 pm. So if you have enough light in that dark Cobalt blue sky to see, then you can squash that Mad Dog before his rabid fangs get you. When that Khukuri comes down with a loud Poff that even the Kozaks around the world can hear it will take you and Big Bob to remove it from that Peatfield. Remember that you are too old to be a Vampire hunter, but you are no Limey.

No animals were hurt during this passage.

I already took my medication before I read Cobalt's post - to no avail. Even just skimming what he said, I understood most of it.

Which reminds me, Cobalt. After I moved from Tahoe to Reno, some erstwhile friends came down and we went out to dinner. Of course, I was known in the restaurant, but they weren't. They proceeded to memorably embarrass me to the point it was ten years before I went back in there.

Afterwards they wanted to go see the newly opened ( then ) MGM Grand Casino. I gave them instructions to go in the back parking lot so we could get closer and not have to walk so far. We were several hundred yards inside the grounds of the Nevada Mental Health Institute and turning into the parking lot of the Lake's Crossing Facility for the Criminally Insane when one of the four "friends" realized where they had "been taken".

If you ever get out to Reno, we'll have to do dinner, Cobalt.
