I have been on here a few times doing this over a Spyderco Endura that had irritating vertical blade play:
Since,..... I have sent the knife in (Blue FFG) to Spyderco and will be recieving a new orange Endura 4. When the knife was sent in I requested that orange scales be mounted while it was disassembled for inspection, and I would pay for them. Not only do I not have to pay for new scales (because I'm getting a new knife), but I also forgot to send the five buck return shipping with the knife.
:foot: So not only is Spyderco sending me a new knife (old one was within spec. but they are meeting my wishes anyway), they are also eating the shipping cost. Damn, if I looked in the mirror I'd see a red face right now. I figured that if I am willing to bitch about the knife\company, I'd better man up when they treat me above and beyond what they could\should have. Thanks Spyderco.
