Thanks to admins and a little anticipation

First, I want to thank the admins. I tried to register this account a couple weeks ago. I filled out the form but was told the name had been banned for spamming. (It wasn't me, honest!) So I contacted the admins, explained what happened, and asked if the name could be un-banned. After a couple days, I hadn't heard anything and began to wonder if maybe my email was jammed. So I checked and yes, it's a low-volume account and nothing was coming through after a recent change to the server. I unjammed it and wondered if I should check in with the admins again. But it seemed easier to just try registering again, not to mention less disruptive to the admins. This time, after typing in the account name I was told (immediately) that it was valid and not banned! Wow! Not only did the admins allow me to use the name, they also reprogrammed the registration page to improve the user experience. You don't see that level of responsiveness very often. Thanks guys! (Or gals, I don't know)

Next, onto some oversharing. I'm expecting my Spartan Blades Pallas folder to arrive today. I decided to work from home just so I get it as soon as possible. Don't ya love anticipation?

Often the anticipation is greater than the joy of holding the new knife. Not often...but a few disappoints along the way.

BTW welcome.

Mike

Welcome! It probably goes without saying, but we like pictures of shiny things, so please post some when your Pallas gets there.

Thanks, guys! The Pallas arrived. It's just as I expected. Figuring out how to post pics is a project in itself. I'll get on that after work.
