So I wandered out of the nice warm snoozing zone on this chilly winter morn. I did that traipsing around the kitchen thing trying to wake up -auto pilot to the coffee machine -look in the fridge for no real reason. Older son has already left for the school bus, younger son and wife proceed to bombard me with unnecessary information, questions and instructions- "oh and theres a package arrived for you" .....Alert status engaged, brain function initiated-identifying target package location -table. Activate drool mitigation system. Deploy son to slice open package. Marvel with wonder as contents are revealed. Remove self from floor and back into upright position.Assume attitude of satisfied bliss sipping coffee and examining beautiful blade..
An absolute stunner Thanks Brett. PM sent to you.

meako, I have to say that was the best thank you post I have ever seen on this forum. Hell, I didn't look at the knife until I stopped laughing. Great animation in sentence form!
Nice gift KBA. Your'e a good man.

Lol....I loved the post as well. Glad to know I am not the only one who looks in the fridge for no reason. Just did that five minutes ago. Jon, I am extremely glad you liked it enough to have to pick yourself off the floor. Im even happier it actually made it safely. Enjoy it my friend.

Meako, that's a beautiful knife and an excellent play-by-play of your special moment. Congrats.

Hats off to KBA too!

Wow! Congratulations! This is a great forum and for sure the generosity here is amazing.

What coloration of bone is that? It's unique.

I have had dealings with Brett, and he is a stand-up person. I know that Meako will remember Brett for a long time. This is the typical happenings that go on around here. Good go you guys. Traditionals Forums is the go to place.

Totally awesome, what a beautiful knife. Major Kudos to you KBA and congrats on your knife Meako! What an outstanding bunch of folks here in this forum. It's always heart-warming to see these wonderful acts of thoughtfulness and kindness.

Ooops did I say "knife"? I meant err "auto electrical part" ;) I actually believe its better to put "antique" or "collectible pocket tool" that way Customs if they open it won't take a dim view of someone trying to dupe them.
Not bone jakemex-2nd cut jigged burnt stag!!!
Even in my zombie like state of semi wakeful twilight I am scanning that fridge for the empty milk carton that they put back rather than going and putting it in the bin.
cheers all.

Great knife and great post Meako, I know the feeling having also been one of the lucky winners in Brett's generous giveaway. Post coming shortly! :)
