I would like to thank Emerson Knives for their recent handling of a warrany repair on my circa 2006 Comrade folder. I sent it back to have the lock repaired. I carried it for several years and managed to wear it out. The lock was touching the G-10 handle when the blade was opened. I also managed to chip (ever so slightly) the tip of the blade.

Both of these issues are no fault of the knife. I simply used the hell out of it. I would not have been upset to pay for the repairs. Instead, they sent me a new knife. :D

I'll add to this. Despite all the other threads it's nice to have the positives too! For me personally, every time I have contacted Emerson, they have been superb.
